IMPACT Student Ministry

IMPACT is the student ministry of House of Prayer. We believe youth are the NOW generation that can impact the world around them today. IMPACT is for students in 6th-12th grade. We strive to create a safe place for students to experience Christ, build friendships, and have fun.

We would love for you to come to IMPACT! Parents are welcome to visit with you if they’d like to.  We meet every Wednesday from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at The City Life Center (across from the church at 223 West Washington Street). Doors open at 5:30pm for the students to come and hang out. Concessions are available before and after service.

First Visit and What to Expect

Our check-in station is located immediately to the right when you first walk into the City Life Center. Each student is expected to check themselves in and out every week. Once checked in, students are not allowed to leave the City Life Center until the service is over for safety purposes. When you check in for the first time we will ask for the following info:

  • Parent/Guardian name and contact information, including email

  • Student’s name, grade, birthdate

  • Any special instructions (allergies and special needs)

A typical service is 1-1 ½ hours long and consists of praise & worship and a relevant, encouraging lesson from Pastor Eric filled with hope, healing, and restoration. Each Wednesday looks a little different. Click here for more information.

Meet Our Youth Director

Michael came on staff at House of Prayer in August of 2022 as Youth Director. He has a passion for drawing others to Jesus and desires to see our youth develop a personal relationship with Him. Michael hopes to set a generation on fire for God with a boldness to proclaim His name in the earth unashamedly! Michael and his wife Martha have 5 kids and enjoy spending time with family, going to the lake, and attending the kids' sporting events.
